Town Planner / Senior Town Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Shire's newly formed Customer & Development Services team as a Town Planner or Senior Town Planner with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and fostering positive outcomes for the community through proactive and sustainable land use planning. We welcome applications from planners who are at the beginning of their careers through to those with considerable experience looking to take on a more senior role.
We are looking for a confident and capable planner with a country focus, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery. You'll need a solid understanding of the Western Australian Planning Framework and the ability to build positive, productive relationships with both the community and your colleagues, while contributing to and building on a positive workplace culture.
Work type: Full-time (9-day fortnight or 19-day month RDO options)
Salary: LGOA Level 7 to 9 - $70,000 to $90,000
