Paradise Motor Homes is the registered business name of PMH Manufacturing Pty Limited. Our core business is manufacturing luxury motor homes. Part of the after sales service is performed by Paradise Motor Homes (QLD) Pty Limited or Paradise Motor Homes (NSW) Pty Limited, which are related entities to PMH Manufacturing Pty Limited. After sales service includes providing the complimentary shakedown service, regular annual servicing, warranty and repair work. Paradise Motor Homes also sells used and consignment vehicles to the general public.
summary of position and key responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to manufacture stock parts and repair stock parts and put part kits together ready for the next stage of manufacture.
The Sub assembly worker will work with other members of the Sub assembly team, as well as other departments, from time to time.
As this role will have access to confidential information, such as vehicle designs and specifications, it is extremely important to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion.
Role and Responsibilities
Manufacture and Repair Stock and Customer purpose-built recreational vehicles:
· Reading and Understanding drawings and production order forms, as well as manufacturer's instructions.
· Communicating with your leading hand to ensure all required parts are available to meet production schedule
· Assist with building kits for all sections of the production line.
· Assist in frame when required.
· Final finish parts ready for fitting.
Apprenticeship Supervision
This role may require you to provide on the job training and support to apprentices from time to time. This will include supporting the apprentice in achieving their training outcomes as outlined in their training plan.

· Support the development and improvement of organisational policies, procedures and practices in areas such as Manufacturing, Human Resources and Work, Health and Safety compliance.
Work Health and Safety
· Ensure that you take reasonable care for your own health and safety, and that of others.
· Ensure that you follow all reasonable management instructions.
· Ensure that you report any hazards, illness or injuries to your Leading Hand or Employer, as per the Incident Reporting Procedure.
· The work environment can be quite noisy at times and protective clothing and equipment must be worn at all times.
Other duties as directed by the Leading Hand – Sub assembly.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Year 10 achievement or above.
Preferred Skills
· Enjoy practical, technical and manual activities.
· Good hand-eye co-ordination.
· Attention to detail.
· Interested in design and fabrication using metals and other products.
