Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving business growth? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading logistics and supply chain organisation, based in the Scenic Rim. This is a full-time role offering an attractive annual salary, 2 days in the office, and 3 days on the road, with a laptop and mobile provided.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities across Queensland. Your focus will be on developing strong client relationships, promoting a full suite of logistics solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored services. You will maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities while driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base.

What You'll Do

Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, industry leaders, and prospective clients.

Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to meet operational and commercial requirements.

Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.

Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives.

Drive sales by preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing new business.

Maintain reporting on sales activity, pipeline progress, and market trends.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; Sales/Marketing qualifications highly regarded.

Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in logistics or transport.

Proven track record in outside sales with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing competing priorities.

Willingness to travel within the region as required.
