About This Role
Senior Civil Engineer opportunity with a major global mining company delivering large-scale domestic and international projects. This Monday-Friday, office-based role (with ad hoc site travel) will see you lead civil design across earthworks, drainage and road infrastructure, supporting projects from feasibility through to construction within a high-performing owner's team environment.
* Lead civil design across earthworks, drainage and road infrastructure packages
* Support feasibility studies, optioneering and infrastructure gap analysis
* Develop Basis of Design, technical specifications and scope documentation
* Review and challenge consultant designs to optimise cost and schedule
* Coordinate civil engineering consultants across study and delivery phases
* Manage civil engineering risks across the full project lifecycle
* Provide technical support from concept through construction
* Contribute to tender evaluation and contractor management processes
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and company procedures
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders across domestic and international projects
* Support project teams with ad hoc site visits as required
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* 8+ years' experience in mining, infrastructure or renewable energy projects
* Strong design capability across earthworks, drainage and roads
* Full project lifecycle experience (feasibility to construction)
* Experience managing and reviewing consultant designs
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and engineering standards
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
