About the Job
We currently have the opportunity for an EXPERIENCED Funeral Professional to join our team.
This role will suit a passionate individual, who is compassionate, reliable and has a professional level of presentation.
This role can be a physically demanding position and will require some lifting and carrying. This role potentially involves all funeral duties including, arranging & conducting, assisting and supporting on funerals, transferring of deceased and assisting in the mortuary, administration work, washing vehicles, cleaning and general maintenance.
We are seeking someone with a genuine desire for exceptional customer service.
The position can be adjusted slightly to suit the qualities of the successful candidate.
About you
* Must be highly competent & confident with technology — setting up and troubleshooting.
* Be able to multitask, as well as adapt and work in a changeable workplace.
* Have the ability to work professionally with a wide variety of people, cultures and religions whilst showing empathy and respect.
* A willingness to learn and be part of a team environment.
* The ability to work in an on-call after-hours rotation.
* Be at ease with death, and the expression of grief.
* Full drivers license.
* Must be an Australian citizen.
* Must have a current police check.
Experience Required
At least one year's recent experience within the funeral industry is ESSENTIAL.
