Senior Team Leader (Club Development and Community Wellbeing)

Permanent | Full Time | 152 Hours Per Month

Premium Recquatic Membership | 13.0% Superannuation | Monthly RDO

This position is classified as a PACS Band 7 ($91,666 - $100,522) under the City of Kwinana's structured remuneration system.

As Senior Team Leader – Club Development & Community Wellbeing, you will provide strategic leadership across public health, active living and community sport, shaping initiatives that strengthen clubs, build community capacity and enhance wellbeing.

You will lead a small, passionate team, creating an environment where staff feel supported, empowered and confident to deliver their best work. Working closely with the Coordinator Community Development and a broad network of clubs, organisations and partners, you will turn ideas into action. From strengthening club governance, increasing participation and driving preventative health initiatives your work will make a visible difference in our community.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar or related role delivering club development and/or public health outcomes.
* Minimum 3 years previous experience in leading and empowering staff with a focus on community outcomes.
* Tertiary qualification in community development, recreation, public health or a related discipline, or significant relevant industry experience.
* Highly developed communication, networking and relationship building skills with an ability to engage with diverse audiences.
* Demonstrated knowledge of community development approaches to recreation planning and club development.
* Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to manage challenging scenarios.
* The ability to empower and lead staff
* Well-developed organisational skills and initiative to prioritise workload.
* Well-developed computer literacy skills demonstrated in grant and report writing, presentations, record management and correspondence.
* Driver's Licence, Police Clearance, Working with Children Card, First Aid Certificate and willingness to work after hours as required.
