The Group Event and Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Norths Collective's functions and events, Reservations Call Centre and Norths Collective Catering & Events. They are responsible for the implementation of business goals & strategies as set by the General Manager. This involves a collaborative approach and leadership to organisational, cultural and structural change, service innovation, sales, sustainability, operational efficiencies with special attention given to food and beverage, maximising member satisfaction, and business intelligence. This person will inspire a high-performance culture. Norths Collective is comprised of diverse Clubs and venues including Norths Cammeray, The Greens North Sydney, The Alcott Lane Cove, The Verandah Beecroft and Seagulls Tweed Heads. Your Key Priorities will be to: Strategy and Marketing. Assisting in the successful implementation of all marketing, promotion and member relations programs. Sales. Developing and implementing business plans in conjunction with the General Manager. Manage lead generations and conversions while maximising profits by upselling. Stay up to date with Event trends. Operational Performance. Ensure that sustainable, customer focused, quality services are delivered to meet the need of the community and provide an outstanding experience for all members and guests. Ensure compliance to all legislative & regulative requirements. Systems and Efficiencies. Creating, implementing and streamlining event systems including SOP's, technology and technology integrations, and processes. Technology includes, but is not limited to iVvy, SevenRooms, Salesforce, and 8x8. People Leadership. Be directly responsible for performance, direction and succession planning of management & staff. Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and hold all licenses and applicable certificates for their role. Financial and Asset Management. To ensure financial and asset management is secure and ongoing through implementing and monitoring all financial and legal standards. Implement, achieve and monitor all budgets and KPIs. Communication. Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders including senior management, line managers, team members and especially our Executive Chef and kitchen teams. Central Call Centre. Overseeing all aspects of the Central Call Centre for Norths Collective and support where required. Compliance. Follow and ensure compliance with the Registered Club Act, Norths Collective's policies and procedures, adhering to Norths Collective's Code of Conduct, and practice Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming. Work, Safety, Health. Actively support a range of activities in accordance with Work, Health & Safety legislation obligations and in line with Norths Collective Risk Management Program. Ensure that all incident and safety concerns are reported immediately. Any other duties that may be reasonably requested at any time.
