The Role

As a Back of House Assistant, you are responsible for receiving, unpacking, processing, organising, labelling, and storing merchandise. You will be operationally driven and hold a high attention to detail whilst demonstrating a great level of energy to keep up with the high demand of customers.
As a Back of House Assistant, you are responsible for, but not limited to:
1. You will support the Back of House Manager/Supervisor with handling deliveries, maintaining order and tidiness of back of house area, avoiding damage and preventing stock loss
2. Assist floor sales team with product queries and customer requests. This includes collecting requested footwear product styles/sizes with a sense of urgency, delivering them to the shop floor
3. Ensure Back of House standards are maintained in line with company expectations
4. Ensure products are priced and tagged correctly
5. Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor replenishing stock levels when needed whilst ensuring all size ranges are available
6. Work under the guidance and support of your Store Manager and Back of House Management team to achieve KPI’s and targets
What we’re looking for
7. Customer service experience within retail, hospitality or like industry
8. Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is favourable, but not essential
9. Maintains a positive can-do attitude
10. Strong operational skills with a high level of attention to detail
11. Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
12. Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
13. An ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself; your career and learn new skills
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers
15. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs
