The transformation you will experience:
The SEO Content Manager will be accountable for executing and elevating Zenith's Content and Digital PR output following a major client win. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client work, fostering creativity, and raising the bar for editorial excellence, off-site acquisition, and digital storytelling. The Manager will assist strategic content delivery for key clients, evolve Zenith's content and Digital PR product, and embed best practices that drive measurable visibility, authority, and brand impact. Aligned with organic growth goals in the era of GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), the Manager will implement strategic content plans, advance Zenith's Digital PR approach, and define and deliver our content model. This role is suited to a creative content professional who is passionate about future-ready organic growth and high-impact account management.
Your scope will include:
· Content Strategy Execution: Deliver high-quality, search-driven content strategies that prioritize audience intent and LLM-readiness.
· Content Model Evolution: Implement and refine our ways of working around large language models (LLMs) to drive efficiency and scale while ensuring 100% quality and governance. Digital PR Advancement: Operationalise Digital PR campaigns that secure high quality editorial coverage and authoritative backlinks to boost brand credibility.
· Account Management & Retention: Support the scoping of new work and play a key role in managing client retention through excellent service and performance.
· Client Relationship Support: Own the day-to-day delivery for major accounts, influencing storytelling-led presentations and performance reviews.
· Performance Excellence: Drive measurable improvements in organic visibility, content engagement, and search authority across all managed accounts.
· Operational Efficiency: Refine processes for briefing, production, and approvals to ensure the highest standard of "brilliant basics."
· Line Management: Influence and coach the SEO Content Specialist(s), focusing on their capability development and a high-performance culture.
· Cross-Channel Collaboration: Work with SEO, Social, and Creative heads to ensure content is integrated into broader go-to-market strategies.
· Exceptional Communicator: A strong storyteller who inspires clients and internal teams through creative innovation.
· Quality-focused in all areas. Oversee teams to make sure work is of a high standard, rigour has been given to plans and responses, and that brilliant basics are always delivered.
· Expert on all key systems and tools. Know the systems well enough to directly find a solution to a problem or know who to ask to support in solving it. Can guide teams on the most effective and efficient use of tools & interpretation of asks / outputs.
· A strong presenter in the team - both in constructing a well thought out and substantiated argument and story and presenting it. Comfortable presenting to equivalent level on client side.
What type of person will be successful in this role
:
· Advertising agency preferred, but not mandatory.
· Experience in Content Marketing, Organic Growth or Digital PR roles
· Proven track record designing and delivering integrated content strategies for enterprise or large brands.
· Strong working knowledge & aptitude to provide examples of search-driven content (E-E-A-T, content architecture, clustering, topic authority).
· Experience and working knowledge of keyword research, competitive and site auditing tools (SimilarWeb, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console) as well as key analytics platforms e.g. GA4/GA360/Adobe Analytics
· Experience working on Digital PR campaigns that drive high-quality coverage and links. Offers a perspective on AI-assisted content production workflows.
