This is a recruitment process for a Permanent Part Time appointment at 45.6 hours per fortnight.

Position Profile

Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The successful applicant will provide a specialised clinical psychology service requiring a high level of knowledge and competence within the FSH Breast Clinic and provide specialised consultation and supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Students within the Department. Part of this role is providing expert consultation, liaison, and education on complex psychological disorders to the Breast multidisciplinary team(s). The role practices as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and ensures practice is in accordance with laws and ethical standards governing psychological practice as per the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). The role commits to undertake duties in accordance with the WA Health Code of Conduct, the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Vision of Excellent health care, the Values of Care (Kaaradj), Integrity (Ngwidam), Respect (Kaaratj), Excellence (Beli-beli) and Teamwork (Yaka-dandjoo).

The ideal candidate will have effective communication and collaboration skills, experience working within hospital multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care alongside medical, nursing, and allied health professionals. They will plan, implement, and evaluate psychological care, ensuring all practices align with AHPRA standards, WA Health Code of Conduct, and departmental values and guidelines.

Area Profile

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
