Actuarial Professional
Sydney-based Actuarial role available on a 12-month contract.
This position provides actuarial, analytical, and technical support to a team.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering consolidated valuation results from Consumer, Commercial, Workers' Compensation, and CTP.
Monthly Actuarial Results including accounting journals for Finance.
Quarterly and annual APRA forms.
Asbestos valuation report.
Consolidated Actuarial Valuation Reports for AAI.
Risk margin and claims handling expense reviews.
Support includes data preparation, validation, and analysis.
Design or assessment of the reasonableness and suitability of models and results prepared.
Documentation of processes, analysis, and investigations.
Preparation of reports to present results.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Computer Science. Progression through Part I and II Actuarial Exams is desired. Strong analytical aptitude, teamwork, and effective communication are essential. Ability to work independently to meet deliverables.
