About the Role:
WorkPac on behalf of our leading Energy client are seeking a Junior Project Engineer â Civil or Mechanical to join the team at Kwinana Power Station.

Role Specific:
* Technical knowledge and skills to manage industrial engineering projects across a variety of construction contract
* types.
* General knowledge of key elements of standard construction contract commercial conditions.
* Strong people management skills, highly developed communication skills, ability to provide clear and frank
* feedback to achieve success, ability to lead through change, ability to prioritise workflow and work at a tactical level. Strong but pragmatic decision-making ability.
* A drive to get things done and see them through to completion.
* A flexible approach and the ability to influence and motivate others.
Key Requirements:
* Essential - Project Management / Business / Engineering / Trade
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in project/ contract management, engineering and construction environment.
* Preferred - Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, or related field.
* Track record of project management on client side, successfully managing contractors delivering packages in range of AUD $10-100 million
* An understanding of decommissioning/demolition/site remediation
