What’s Required The Director is accountable for ensuring international student recruitment is a strategically aligned, data-informed contributor to the University’s mission, enabling sustainable growth and deep institutional engagement. You will bring to the role a high level of technical expertise and sector knowledge to lead a complex international recruitment function as well as: Extensive understanding in international market development, including market planning, channel management, market diversification and global mobility trends. Strong analytical capability to oversee data-informed strategy, using CRM systems, dashboards and analytics insights to assess market opportunities, forecast performance and optimise conversion. Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams, with experience in workforce planning, capability development and building collaborative, cross-functional working relationships across academic and professional areas. Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate complex regulatory frameworks across domestic and international markets, with knowledge of ESOS, TPS, agent management standards and other key international education compliance requirements considered highly advantageous. Financial and commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, evaluating ROI and prioritising strategic investments to ensure sustainable and diversified recruitment outcomes.
