Job Role Overview
The primary function of this position is to effectively establish, test and deploy audio/communications facilities for assigned field or studio projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* To ensure all audio communication systems within the OB compound are fully functional and operational by the designated completion time.
* To collaborate with the project's Audio Director and Technical Manager to guarantee a comprehensive understanding of the audio and communications requirements for each project.
* To maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment for the audio and communications facilities that aligns with industry standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A solid knowledge of Riedel and RTS communications systems, as well as similar technologies, is crucial for success in this role.
* Familiarity with audio consoles, particularly LAWO and Calrec models.
* A good level of operational experience is necessary, with an ideal candidate having a strong understanding of these devices at an engineering level.
* This role involves frequent weekend and evening work due to the predominance of sport events.
* At least 3 years of television broadcasting experience is highly preferred.
