About the role
We are seeking a new Programs Officer to join our established and well supported Swim School team. You will be part of a strong leadership structure made up of a Team Leader, two full time Programs Officers and two part time Programs Officers. This role fills the vacancy of one of our full-time positions.
You will work alongside a team that genuinely enjoys what they do, supported by experienced Senior Teachers and a large group of enthusiastic Swimming Teachers, all committed to delivering high quality swimming lessons across both Leisureplexes.

Responsibilities
* The Programs Officer Swim School supports the smooth and effective operation of our perpetual Swim School program. You will work closely with the Team Leader Swim School, other Programs Officers, Senior Teachers, and teaching staff to deliver safe, engaging and progression focused programs.
* Coordinating enrolments and timetables for programs including babies, preschool, school age, teen, adult, CALD, special needs and lifesaving
* Creating rosters and adjusting schedules based on demand, teacher availability and pool resources
* Supporting staff recruitment, induction, mentoring and performance
* Providing friendly, respectful and solution focused customer service
* Assisting with newsletters, marketing materials, website updates and promotional activities
* Contributing to continuous improvement and program development
* Working collaboratively with fellow Programs Officers to ensure seamless service across both centres

What you will bring
* Minimum 5 years swimming and water safety teaching experience
* Strong understanding of aquatic program structures and student progression
* Experience in program planning, scheduling and template creation
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Experience supervising or supporting staff
* Ability to work across both Leisureplex locations as required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Current Swim Teaching qualification, Working with Children Check, CPR, Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
* Experience with Envibe
* Provide First Aid
* Additional aquatic teaching qualifications such as Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Teacher of Adults, Access and Inclusion, Competitive Strokes or Assessor
* RLSS Aquatic Trainer Accreditation
