We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer for an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential to transition into a full-time permanent role.
This role requires a senior-level engineer with proven Azure design and architecture experience, capable of operating autonomously and contributing to both strategic design and hands-on implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimise Microsoft Azure environments
Lead infrastructure design decisions across cloud and hybrid platforms
Provide architectural input into new solutions and platform improvements
Configure and manage enterprise-grade Azure services
Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability best practices
Support security, identity, and governance frameworks
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams
Provide mentorship and technical leadership where required
Required Experience
7+ years in senior infrastructure / systems engineering roles
Strong architecture and solution design capability
Deep experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Experience designing secure, scalable Azure environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Experience working in complex enterprise environments
Highly Desirable Azure Experience
