Land Management Supervisor Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Land Management Supervisor to lead and supervise land management operations across designated Defence estates.
This is a permanent position based in Wagga - Blamey Barracks. The successful candidate will have experience in land management, horticulture, or environmental services and strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading Land Management Operations: Coordinate vegetation control, firebreak maintenance, and pest management activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and Defence standards.
* Contractor Performance Management: Manage contractor performance to ensure timely delivery of services and maintain high standards.
* Sustainability and Environmental Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Defence standards and environmental regulations.
* Team Support and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Qualifications and Experience: A relevant degree or equivalent experience in land management, horticulture, or environmental services.
* Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership and teamwork skills to coordinate teams effectively.
* Compliance and Risk Management: Knowledge of WHS and environmental compliance requirements to ensure safe and sustainable practices.
* Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to build effective relationships.
