About The Opportunity
As business continues to grow, our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Truganina. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get started in warehousing and logistics, with full training and development provided. The successful candidate will support the Warehouse Manager in all day-to-day operations.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Receive and dispatch goods with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
* Operate forklifts and material handling equipment with a valid licence
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
* Assist with warehouse process improvements and stock layout optimisation
* Manage dispatch processes and handle freight bookings with external carriers
* Perform stock control tasks including inventory counts and resolving discrepancies
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Valid Driver's Licence (essential)
* Forklift licence and proficient computer skills
* High level of enthusiasm, reliability and motivation
* Physical fitness to manage the demands of a hands‐on role
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
