Due to upcoming expansion and staff development, we have exciting opportunities for full-time roles as receptionists/technicians at our South-East clinics, ideal for those looking to build a career in the Medical Industry.Experience is not essential, though highly favourable; attitude is key. If you can organize, multi-task, and thrive in a busy environment, we encourage you to apply and join our team.Remuneration will be based on experience.The role:This is a dual role involving reception and general administration duties, as well as assisting with technician tasks such as performing ECGs, Holter Monitors, BP monitors, Sleep studies, Lung Function Tests, and ECGs. Full training will be provided.You will work within a team, primarily at our Mooroolbark clinic, with rostered shifts at other regional sites to cover leave or busy periods.Work a 76-hour fortnight, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.Meet and greet patients, manage appointments, billing, and payments, and ensure a welcoming environment.Handle phone calls, booking, and appointment confirmations.Ensure all documentation is accurately entered into the clinical software.Perform medical tests such as ECGs, Holter Monitors, BP monitors, Sleep studies, and Lung Function tests.Assist cardiologists with preparing patients for stress echocardiography when needed.Maintain and organize medical supplies and equipment.Download and program monitors as required.Requirements:Full working rights and Australian permanent residency are essential.Experience in medical reception or technician roles is advantageous but not mandatory.Knowledge of medical software, especially HealthTrack, is highly desirable.A valid driver's license and access to a car.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent communication and keyboard skills.Ability to work under pressure.Professional, warm, and friendly demeanor.Strong work ethic: self-motivated, proactive, pride in your work.Working with Children and Police Check certificates are required prior to employment.Benefits:Free on-site parking.Full training provided.Work close to home with no after-hours shifts.Opportunities for skill development and career growth within Scope Healthcare.This role is available immediately; interviews will be conducted as suitable candidates apply.
