CNC Programmer – Laser / Plasma / Waterjet
We are a growing and well-established Laser Cutting business seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our high-performing team.

About the Role
As our CNC Programmer, you will transform customer drawings and engineering requirements into accurate and efficient cutting programs. Working closely with production, quality and sales teams, you will ensure parts are programmed correctly, nested efficiently and manufactured to specification.
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, optimising machine performance and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and interpret work orders, drawings and specifications
* Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
* Create flat patterns and 3D layouts for CNC cutting
* Optimise nests and machine settings for efficiency and cost control
* Reverse engineer components when required
* Support operators with technical guidance
* Maintain accurate file revisions and documentation
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Proven CNC programming experience (Laser, Plasma or Waterjet preferred)
* Strong CAD/CAM skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
* Experience with SigmaNEST and/or Lantek highly regarded
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple jobs and shifting priorities
* Manufacturing or fabrication background essential
