About the role
Congress is expanding and looking for a skilled Workforce Partner (HR Adviser) to join our Human Resources team in Alice Springs.
The Workforce Partner (HR Adviser) will work collaboratively with a specified customer group to deliver guidance and support across a wide range of human resources matters, coaching, mentoring, and supporting managers with contemporary people management practices.

Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
* Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees on HR policies and practices
* Contribute to the development of HR strategies, HR policies, and implementation of HR projects
* Undertake case management to support managers and employees on ER matters including workplace investigations, grievance resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes
* In collaboration with the Recruitment team, support managers in workforce planning
* Educate, coach, and advise managers to support them with their management responsibilities
* Assist the Manager Employee Relations with weekly and monthly reporting
Qualifications
Diploma level qualification in human resources management or a relevant field or extensive practical experience. AHRI certified HR practitioner desirable.
Experience
Minimum of two years' experience in dealing with employee relations matters. Experience providing coaching and advice related to human resources. Case management experience of employee or industrial relation matters. Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution. Ability to analyse data and produce HR metric reports.
Skills
Strong communication skills, expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution abilities, problem-solving skills, organisational skills, active listening, knowledge of relevant HR policies and compliance, and the ability to work well with both employees and management across various departments.
