We are seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic educator who can inspire our students to achieve their very best through music.
This role includes leading Primary choral groups and preparing students for participation in internal and external performances and competitions. The ability to motivate and engage young learners, while maintaining high musical standards, is essential. The ability to teach other Arts areas (e.g. Visual Art) would be an advantage.
As a Music Teacher in our Primary School, you will be contributing to a well-respected and high performing program.
This is a permanent, Part-time role (FTE to be negotiated) to start Term
To be successful, you will have:
* QCT Registration (or eligibility)
* Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses
* Evidence of innovative classroom practices
* A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom music teacher
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
* Demonstrated understanding of how students learn through effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
* Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
* An active Christian faith and be able to supply a Pastoral Reference
