Position: Gatehouse Attendant
As a Gatehouse Attendant, your primary responsibilities include:
* Operating a computerised system to log waste transactions (i-weigh).
* Handling cash and processing EFT transactions.
* Assisting customers with inquiries related to waste disposal and recycling.
* Providing assistance in other area of the waste facility, such as the recycling drop off and waste transfer station sites.
What we’re looking for:
* Basic computer skills (mandatory).
* Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
* A commitment to safety and teamwork.
* Experience in customer service or waste management is desirable but not essential.
* Full training provided for the right candidate.
* A passion for sustainability and recycling.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Previous experience in recycling or waste management is a bonus but not required.
