Sales Professional - Mining and Wear Solutions
This role involves working with clients in the mining sector to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team and cover the North Queensland region.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wear solutions and their applications in mining.
* You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with mine owners, design consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and service contractors.
* To succeed in this role, you will need to develop a solid understanding of our semi-technical steel plate products and their applications in mining.
* A background in metallurgy, fabrication, or welding is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector, focusing on wear solutions to reduce clients' costs.
2. Maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and onsite trials to demonstrate product benefits.
3. Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations highlighting our steel plates' benefits and features.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry.
5. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
* High school qualifications are essential; degrees are considered, but attitude and energy are most important.
* Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in mining or industrial services.
* Familiarity with steel products, especially wear applications, is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and negotiation skills.
