Clubs WA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next phase of growth and impact. This part-time role (20-30 hours a week) will oversee the operations of the organisation, ensuring it continues to effectively support and represent the interests of its member clubs across Western Australia.
What you'll be doing
* Provide strong leadership and direction to the organisation, ensuring it delivers on its strategic objectives
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Clubs WA, including financial management, HR, training and stakeholder engagement
* Represent Clubs WA externally, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including government, industry bodies, and member clubs
* Drive the development and implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives that support and benefit Clubs WA's member clubs
* Ensure Clubs WA's compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
* Lead, motivate, and develop the Clubs WA team to enable them to effectively support the organisation's objectives
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the not-for-profit or association environment
* Proven track record of driving strategic change and delivering results in a complex stakeholder environment
* Strong financial management and business acumen, with the ability to oversee budgets and ensure financial sustainability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
* Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high‑performing teams
* Familiarity with RTO operations or training programs is an advantage
