About the Role Our client is looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a high-performing Sales team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start or grow your sales career in the thriving cybersecurity industry. You'll be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, conducting outbound prospecting, and setting up meetings for Account Executives. This is a pivotal role in driving business growth and building strong market presence. You'll have the chance to work closely with both Sales and Marketing teams to execute targeted outreach strategies that deliver measurable results. What You'll Be Doing Conducting high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to identify and qualify potential clients. Researching and targeting ideal customer profiles using CRM tools, LinkedIn, and industry databases. Clearly communicating value propositions related to cybersecurity solutions. Scheduling discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives. Collaborating with Marketing to support campaigns and align messaging. Staying up to date on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and customer challenges. Maintaining accurate records of outreach and lead activity in CRM systems. What You'll Bring 1-2 years' experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles (preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or SaaS industries). Proven confidence in phone-based outreach and relationship building. Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp high-level technical concepts. Familiarity with sales tools such as CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred but not essential). What You're Like Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to develop your skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Collaborative team player who thrives on achieving results. Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
