Sales representative – construction/manufacturing industry Adelaide, South Australia IMPartners is recruiting on behalf of a South Australian-owned glass processing and manufacturing business supplying flat glass products to residential and commercial construction projects. Following a recent change in ownership and a renewed focus on growth across the Adelaide market, the business is strengthening its sales capability. Working with builders, contractors and glazing businesses across the state, the company supports projects through reliable supply, responsive service and practical industry knowledge. The business is now seeking a Sales Representative to develop customer relationships and identify project opportunities across the Adelaide construction sector. The role This role focuses on developing relationships within the construction industry and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to confirmed orders. You will work closely with the General Manager and internal estimating and production teams to ensure enquiries are handled clearly, quotations are prepared accurately and projects progress smoothly. The role includes a mix of office, client and site-based work across Adelaide. What a day looks like Developing relationships with builders, contractors and glazing businesses Identifying residential and commercial project opportunities Managing incoming enquiries and preparing quotations Visiting client offices, residential developments and construction sites Working with estimating and production teams to coordinate project requirements Following up quotations and maintaining clear communication with customers Maintaining a structured pipeline of enquiries and opportunities Supporting discussions with builders, architects and project stakeholders where required This role is suited to someone who has: Experience in sales within the construction, building materials or related industry Understanding of residential and commercial construction projects Experience preparing quotations or managing project enquiries Ability to build practical working relationships with builders and contractors Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple enquiries Clear and professional communication Commercial awareness and understanding of construction project timelines Experience in the glass or glazing industry would be advantageous but is not essential (but building and construction sales is essential) How to apply Please submit your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience within the construction or building materials industry.
