We have an exciting Client Services Manager available within our Sydney office.

Key Activities/Accountabilities
- Supporting the Business Unit Manager in meeting and exceeding customer service.
- Dispute and issues resolution relating to service.
- 1st escalation point for operations with service issues.
- Communicating customer expectations and changes in a timely manner.
- Liaising with and taking instructions from our customers to co-ordinate their orders/shipments by the advised dates listed on the orders.
- Input of orders into EDI/ Cargowise and the essential follow-up of the orders with GEODIS Freight Forwarding overseas offices, subsidiaries, and agents thereof.
- Reporting changes in freight requirements to GEODIS Freight Forwarding overseas offices.
- Liaising with shipping lines, overseas GFF offices and agents, freight forwarders, carriers, current clients and prospective clients.
- Proactively communicating any issues (i.e., deviations, delays etc.) to the clients within a timely manner, including corrective action.
- Procurement & rate maintenance (Cost and Sell) in conjunction with Sales & account stakeholders
- Timely and regular review of suppliers and rates.
- Customer Implementation Champion for Business Unit.
- Ensure the Business Unit delivers efficiencies using filters and managing by exception.
- Ensure operational stability is maintained with corrective action plans implemented to address ongoing issues.

Skills and experience

Tertiary Qualitifcation in Business preferred
The CSE shall be proficient through training and/or experience in forwarding, customs procedures and customer service techniques.
Customer service skills essential.
Knowledge of air and sea freight processes essential.
Experience using CargoWise essential.

Permanent Full Time
$70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Matraville, NSW 2036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)
