Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting your local community? As part of the Community Partnerships Team, the Library Shelving Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring our library spaces remain welcoming, accessible and well-maintained.
Based within Campaspe Shire's public libraries, this position is responsible for returning, sorting, and shelving library items, as well as performing general housekeeping duties to support the efficient delivery of library services. You'll help maintain the organisation of library collections, ensuring materials are easy to locate and presented in a tidy, user-friendly manner.
To be successful for this role you will require:
* Keen interest in working in a public library environment with a passion for books and reading.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
* Ability to provide excellent customer service.
* Demonstrated ability to navigate computer systems and online platforms effectively.
* Valid National Police Check.
* Victorian Working with Children Check.
* Valid Driver's Licence (if applicable).
