Provide project management and operational support to deliver the Closing the Gap: Investing in First Nations Educational Outcomes project within the First Nations Health Education Hub.
About the Position
As the Project Officer – First Nations Health Education Hub, you will support the growth of the First Nations health workforce through innovative pathways and cross-sectoral collaboration, with a focus on culturally responsive opportunities in regional, rural, and remote health education. You will provide project management support to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations and implementation of the Closing the Gap: Investing in First Nations Educational Outcomes project and be a key point of contact and support for the First Nations Health Education Hub
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* A degree with subsequent relevant experience in project management in a high regulated industry and/or complex organisation or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
* A strong track record in delivering against a schedule of deadlines, with strong organisational skills, project management skills and self-motivation with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Proven ability to exercise initiative and maintain confidentiality, and with demonstrated communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to engage with students, academic and university staff, and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated high level professional verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
* Proven ability to work in a challenging environment with problem-solving skills to achieve specific outcomes, and to work with initiative, discretion, and judgement.
* Commitment to the University's values.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 6. The base salary will be in the range of $89,487 - $95,375 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $104,699- $111,588 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
