Overview Of The Role
As a CNC Programmer / Setter, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines. You'll work from technical drawings to produce precise components, ensuring adherence to tight tolerances while self-inspecting your completed work. This position is ideal for a candidate eager to develop their skills and advance their career within the engineering field.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines.
* Proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
* Attention to detail and commitment to working within tight tolerances.
* Experience with Fusion 360 is an advantage.
* Dynamic and proactive approach to work.

Key Responsibilities
* Program and set up CNC milling machines in accordance with specifications.
* Produce components by interpreting and working from technical drawings.
* Ensure quality control through self-inspection of completed jobs.
* Prepare machines for production based on works orders.
* Write and edit CNC programs as required.
