Key Leadership Role:
This is a key leadership position within an organization, driving business growth, service development and innovation, strategic relationship management and championing reform within the sector.
The role will be achieved by working in close collaboration with senior executives, the management team, and through the development of strong relationships with relevant government departments, agencies and individuals.
Main Responsibilities:
* Comprehensive understanding of the human service delivery system, with particular reference to services for children, young people and families.
* Ability to lead projects, tenders and submissions, planning activities and research within the region with a focus on growing the breadth and depth of service delivery.
* Demonstrated experience in writing for various purposes including grants, submissions, reports and briefings.
* Demonstrated ability to mediate and negotiate appropriate outcomes in complex and sensitive work situations.
* Experience in maintaining external stakeholder partnerships and building productive, reliable and collegial relationships.
* Leadership experience with the capacity to support program managers and provide leadership and consultation in relation to practice across a range of programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A tertiary qualification preferably in social sciences, human services or social work.
* Project management or management qualifications are highly regarded.
