Join us in this exciting opportunity to work as a Hospital Claims Assessor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring hospital claims are processed efficiently and accurately.

This is an entry-level position that offers the chance to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in the healthcare industry.

You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of claims assessment through accurate, efficient, and timely processing of hospital claims.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members and health service providers.

* Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and efficient claims assessment processes
* Provide advice and assistance to members and health service providers
* Contribute to the effective operations of the Customer Service Business Unit
* Actively participate as a member of the Benefits and Assessing team
* Effective use of own work time and work resources
* Payment of claims within contract requirements and benefit payment limits
* Accurate assessment of hospital claims through the verification process and ECLIPSE system
* Prepare, review and complete claim process activity of hospital claims through the verification process and ECLIPSE system


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar claims-based role
* Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills
* Ability to take regular constructive feedback
* Able to work efficiently without affecting the quality of your work
* Experience working towards KPIs
* Resilience and a 'can-do' attitude
