TP Human Capital is partnering with a government client in Townsville to recruit a Customer Service Officer to deliver quality front-line service and support team development.
Location: Townsville
Employment Type: Temporary (contract until November 2025)
Hourly Rate: $45 to $47 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service at the first point of contact in a professional, courteous, and informed manner.
* Assist the Team Leader in mentoring, coaching, and supporting less experienced staff.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Act as the point of contact for customer escalations as directed by the Team Leader.
* Provide relief coverage across all customer service functions, including leadership responsibilities where required.
Key Requirements
* Proven enthusiasm and ability to quickly learn and apply new systems, processes, and procedures.
* Minimum two years' experience in administration or operational support (desirable).
* Minimum two years' experience in a quality assessment, training, or coaching capacity (desirable).
* Sound working knowledge of customer contact platforms and customer request systems (desirable).
