Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with experience in procurement, subcontract administration, and project coordination. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the procurement process for materials across various projects
* Draft and review subcontract documentation
* Develop and administer trade packages scope of work
* Assess quotes, negotiate, and provide tender price comparisons and recommendations
* Respond to on-site requests from site teams
* Manage client and subcontractor RFIs from site
* Head Contract & Subcontract administration
* Manage and track project expenditure and prepare a monthly report
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related discipline
* Experience as a Contracts Administrator, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment
* JOBPAC experience preferred, as well as proficiency across MS Suite
* Agile thinking and ability to identify opportunities
* Confidence and demonstrated capability in negotiation
* Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex issues with clarity and ease
* A meticulous eye for detail and outstanding record keeping skills
* Ability to work well both in autonomously and team environments with a commitment to organisational success
