About the Role
Maintaining staff details in payroll systems is a critical task. Our ideal candidate will process roster variations and payroll adjustments, calculating and processing termination payments for exiting employees.
* Ensure accurate payment of salary and entitlements by maintaining up-to-date staff details.
* Process changes to employee rosters and adjust payroll accordingly.
* Calculate and finalize termination payments for departing employees.
* Perform thorough payroll checks and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Offer expert advice to managers, schedulers, and employees on rostering, superannuation, and entitlements, ensuring alignment with company policies and obligations.
* Provide support to P&C business partners and consultants on complex payroll queries, including allowances, redundancies, and tax implications.
* Contribute to ongoing improvements in team processes and procedures.
* E nsure timely superannuation payments in accordance with fund rules.
About You
We seek an experienced professional who brings:
* Payroll experience in complex organizations.
* Ability to adapt to changing environments.
* Proficiency in MS Excel.
* Prior experience with Aurion payroll software is beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
