Job Overview
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of our organisation by developing a robust strategy and action plan.
The successful candidate will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members living within the Lower Hume catchment to identify and address health and wellbeing issues.
Key duties include building rapport with local communities, establishing relationships with healthcare providers, and collaborating with other relevant programs to inform the strategy and action plan.
Additional responsibilities involve working collaboratively with partnership managers and project officers to foster a coordinated approach to implementing our Action Plan and best practice.
The Project Officer will be responsible for advocating for better outcomes that benefit the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Other key duties include enhancing our profile and sustainability, documenting addressing the key selection criteria, and providing professional references.
