About the role:
* Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday
* Temp to Perm opportunity – a 3‐month trial with Labourforce before going full time
* Salary is $100,000 - $110,000 plus Super
* Working from a Neerabup site for 6 months probation, then potential to work from home where suitable considering the team's needs
* Start and finish times are negotiable (8‐hour shift)
* Start date 2026-02
Qualifications:
* Unlimited working rights in Australia (full‐time hours); WHV & student visas will not be shortlisted due to limited working restrictions
* Current National Police Clearance, or willing to obtain at own cost (essential)
* Excellent attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* High level of pride in work
* Ability to work well within a team environment
* Own car (locations are not accessible by public transport)
Selection criteria (essential):
* 5 years' experience within a similar role (timber, building or construction industries highly regarded)
* Ability to lead a team to reach required goals and KPIs
* Excellent communications skills, including the ability to adapt to different personalities in a varied industry (e.g., floor personnel, builders, truck drivers)
* Accurate arithmetic skills and ability to calculate dimensions and size measurements without error in a pressured environment
* Strong time‐management skills and ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
* Ability to problem‐solve and manage customer queries and complaints professionally
* Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
* Not afraid of a challenging role and seeking a long‐term career
* Experience with SAP software highly desirable
Duties include:
* Lead the team in providing dedicated customer service from order receipt to product delivery for all customers
* Supervise and manage all aspects of the customer service team, including customer account management
* Monitor workflow processes and work distribution within the team
* Train and develop team members
* Provide hands‐on support to the team, leading by example and engaging in day‐to‐day tasks as required
* Process high volumes of customer orders via internal software platforms, email, and phone
* Process quotations, credit claims, raise purchase orders, and manage returns
* Create and update procedures
* Provide product availability, specifications, pricing, and delivery information
* Maintain high-level communication with customers, contractors, account managers, production, dispatch, and the WA head office
* Resolve complaints and customer enquiries politely and professionally without conflict
* Assist in coordinating and completing stock takes
* Release daily orders for the production team accurately
