At BankWAW, we are proudly customer-owned and community-rooted – and we are on the hunt for a Marketing Strategy & Product Manager who's part strategist, part storyteller, part product whisperer, and all heart.

About the role

This is not your run-of-the-mill management gig. You will be the driving force behind our marketing and product roadmap, shaping how we go to market, connect with our customers, and grow with purpose.

With a small-but-mighty team of two experienced marketing professionals by your side, you will be:

· Leading the marketing strategy with creativity, courage and a laser focus on results.

· Developing and managing a customer-first product portfolio – think savings, loans, digital services and what's next.

· Crafting a communications strategy that resonates across channels – from community noticeboards to social media.

· Managing the marketing budget like a pro – spend smart, measure impact and always plan for ROI.

· Building partnerships with local businesses, schools and community groups – because banking should feel personal not corporate.

· Be a key voice at the table, reporting regularly to the executive and senior management team on strategy, performance and growth opportunities.

· Leading, coaching and developing your team – helping them grow, thrive and do their best work.

You're equal parts creative thinker and strategic doer. You get banking, but more importantly, you get people. You're just as comfortable mapping out a go to market plan as you are having a yarn with a local partner at a sausage sizzle.

You will bring:

· Strong experience in marketing strategy, product development or brand management (bonus points if its in financial services).

· Experience in project management across teams, ensuring alignment.

· Experience managing creative partners and external providers with ease and efficiency.

· Ability to turn insights into impact – and communicate it to executive stakeholders.

· Equal love for data and imagination, and a drive to make a difference.

· A warm constructive leadership style that develops talent and fosters a strong team culture.

· Digital fluency, with experience in digital trends, customer experience technologies and data analytics tools.

· Bonus if you have worked with community engagement or purpose-led marketing.
