**About this role**
Our vision is to transform our clients' businesses to shape a better world. We advise and deliver solutions that transform the performance and capability of our clients' businesses. To deliver this, we focus on people, process, technology and assets, implementing solutions that encompass sustainability and innovation.

The primary focus of the role is to lead the development and execution of a state-wide Advisory Services plan, to build our local profile, win and deliver work using teams in Australia and Southeast Asia, while seeking to collaborate globally with Arup specialists. A key focus will be on supporting the development of a diverse service offering which differentiates Arup in the marketplace and serves to attract and retain the best talent.

**What will I do?**
- Identify, pursue, secure, and deliver advisory projects across Australia, and where client needs demand it.
- Develop a network with relevant parts of the Arup business to ensure appropriate expertise is deployed across planning, design, engineering, finance, and research sectors to meet specific client needs.
- Seek innovative solutions and embrace innovative methods to add value to clients, the environment and society. Cross sell wider Arup services as well as identify and develop opportunities for Arup via 'trusted advisor' relationships.
- Support Arup leaders across Australasia to identify talent, build capacity, develop skills, and share experience.
- Contribute to growth of the WA advisory team and contribute to wider growth of Arup's Advisory business.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications within an appropriate area:

- Membership of relevant professional institutions / professional bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership
- Technical knowledge and pre-existing relationships with tier 1 Australia-based infrastructure investors and/or financial advisers
- Understanding of investor decision making processes and metrics, including mechanisms to mitigate risks to Arup
- Demonstrated success in leading the execution of technical and commercial due diligence mandates, and preparing compelling pitches to clients
