Embedded Systems Engineer – Verification
We are seeking an embedded systems engineer (hardware / firmware) to join our small team and assist with verification and validation, documentation and prototyping.
The offer is for a permanent part-time or full-time position, Monday to Friday.
The position would ideally suit a mechatronic, computer systems or embedded systems engineer with existing knowledge of embedded systems concepts.

We design and manufacture safety-critical hardware and software for a range of industries including aerospace, automotive, industrial and biomedical.
What you can expect
Testing and debugging of systems featuring Texas Instruments Safety MCUs and AMD Zynq FPGAs in a range of applications including aircraft flight control, spacecraft payloads, motor control for vehicle propulsion and industrial safety devices.
Test case execution, debugging, development, maintenance and improvements including creating test cases in the C language.
Maintenance of our internal documentation, MBSE models, diagrams, requirements databases and test reports.
Development of hardware and software prototypes and test fixtures to assist with achieving test coverage.
Qualifications
Understanding embedded systems processes, including deploying firmware on a target device and debugging strategies.
Solid working knowledge of the C language and its application in a resource-constrained environment; knowledge of C# is a plus.
Understanding of hardware level communications including SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and Ethernet as well as strategies to debug systems containing the same.
Ability to create simple embedded hardware prototypes.
High level of self-motivation and excellent written and organisational skills.
Minimum Certificate or Diploma qualification in engineering or related field.
Possess Australian work rights at the time of application.
