* Department for Health and Wellbeing – Clinical System Support and Improvement – Office of the Chief Pharmacist
* Salary: $108,347 to $116,216 (Pro-Rata) – AHP3 – Part Time 0.5 FTE / Term Contract up to February 2027

Overview:

* Is a member of the Office of the Chief Pharmacist responsible to the Chief Pharmacist for the management and administration of medicines and technology programs and initiatives that promote systematic improvement in the safety, quality, and cost effectiveness of health care.
* Responsible for the organisation, management, and operation of services within statewide cancer chemotherapy within the Office of the Chief Pharmacist. The provision of a comprehensive high-level range of pharmacy services, to exercise independent and autonomous judgement in the provision of pharmacy services, medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients of the hospital as well as medical and nursing staff and other health professionals in accordance with hospital and divisional policies and procedures and professional standards and guidelines relating to pharmacy practice.
* The optimisation of outcomes for chemotherapy patients by implementing strategies to achieve the best possible quality use of pharmaceuticals in a safe and cost-effective manner and in accordance with hospital/LHN policy.

* A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
