Assistant Branch Manager (2IC) role leading to a Branch Manager position.
Are you an experienced Internal Sales, Account Manager or Operations professional within the electrical wholesale industry looking for the next step in your career?
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, nationally recognised electrical wholesaler as an Assistant Branch Manager, with a clear and structured pathway into a Branch Manager position.
We're looking for someone who understands the day-to-day operations of an electrical wholesale branch and is ready to take on more responsibility, develop their leadership skills, and build a long-term management career within a highly respected business.
Position
Working closely with an experienced Branch Manager, you'll be involved in all aspects of branch operations including:
* Supporting the day-to-day management of the branch
* Leading and mentoring internal sales and customer service staff
* Building relationships with customers and suppliers
* Assisting with branch performance, profitability and operational efficiency
* Managing stock, purchasing and inventory processes
* Supporting sales growth and customer retention initiatives
* Learning the commercial and leadership aspects required to successfully run a branch
This is genuinely a development role, designed to prepare the successful candidate to step into a Branch Manager position as they progress.
Experience
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in electrical wholesale, particularly those coming from backgrounds such as:
* Internal Sales
* Account Management
* Customer Service
* Branch Operations
* Purchasing or Inventory Control
You may already be acting as a senior team member or informal leader and are looking for your first opportunity to move into management.
Compensation & Benefits
