The facility includes 10 acute beds and 6 aged care beds, with an additional 16 offsite beds managed nearby. A range of outpatient services are provided here by resident and visiting clinicians, including emergency care, general medical, surgery, post-natal care, and community health services. This hospital operates within a major Queensland Health Service committed to innovative, high quality healthcare in metropolitan, regional, and rural settings. As Rural General Practitioner, you will be contributing to the provision of comprehensive specialist care to public inpatients, outpatients, accident and emergency and aged care services. You will provide high quality multidisciplinary clinical services while also participating in the development and maintenance of service enhancement and improvement strategies. You will be supported by a dynamic multidisciplinary team of doctors and specialised nurses. Salary information Rural General Practitioners can expect a total remuneration package of up to $249,639 p.a. Requirements Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or equivalent.
