Senior Employment Lawyer Wanted
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an employment lawyer to work with one of Melbourne's most reputable law firms. Our team advises major Australian and multinational employers across various industries, including construction, mining, finance, health, education, and government.
You will be working closely with two senior partners who are renowned for their expertise in employment law. One has extensive experience in employment law aspects of M&A, strategic industrial relations, and large-scale regulator investigations, while the other is widely respected for her work in public sector enterprise bargaining, sensitive workplace disputes, and leadership roles in high-profile Royal Commissions.
The role offers a unique blend of technically complex work and collaborative team environment. You will have direct access to partners, frequent client contact, and opportunities to build your confidence in negotiations and disputes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on employment law matters to clients
* Conduct research and analysis to support client needs
* Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve employment disputes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in employment law, preferably with 2-4 years' PAE
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
