As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including cutting, assembling, joining for both residential and commercial projects.
Preparing substrate, understanding the principals of square/level is crucial.
Interpret drawings and specifications to establish installation procedures and materials required.
Select and evaluate materials for defects, manage material usage and minimize waste, ensuring projects are completed cost-effectively.
Follow all code requirements for Australian building standards.
Participate in workplace training programs as required.
Working closely with the project management team to deliver exceptional results.
Ensuring all work is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.
To be successful in this role, you will need: High levels in competency in measuring, cutting and installing timber flooring, skirting, etc Proficient and safe use of hand and power tools with measurement instrument are essential.
Basic math and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to details.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
