Our client is a major Australian Energy Infrastructure business, with over 20 Billion in energy owned assets. They are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to play a key role in developing potential current opportunities for new/existing clients, to be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of contract management.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate and close opportunities with new or existing customers in line with strategy and financial targets.
Manage proper handover of closed opportunities to the contract management team.
Developing new products and services on existing assets to meet customer needs and new opportunities as they emerge.
provide commercial input into growth projects.
Desired skills and experience:
A strong understanding of how to develop effective ways of working between operational contract management, BD Managers and other commercial Managers to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
5+ years experience in the Energy sector.
Strong stakeholder engagement.
A high level of commercial acumen both verbally and written.
