Job Opportunity:
We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our library team as a Library Assistant.
The successful candidate will support the maintenance, organisation and administration of library resources, including handling information desk and rover duties, assisting with enquiries, self-service activities and maintaining service records.
This role involves ensuring tidy, safe spaces and reporting facilities issues, managing collections through shelving, retrieval and routine check-ins. The candidate will also uphold library security, assist in emergencies and support team members as required.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
* Completion of Year 12 or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
* Ability to work rostered hours, including weekdays, evenings and weekends
* Strong interpersonal skills to deliver quality service and communicate effectively with diverse client groups
* Capable of working collaboratively and independently, including without direct supervision
* Proficient in IT applications (Microsoft Office, online resources, mobile technologies) with attention to detail and accuracy
