About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
TAFE SA is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join us. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have substantial industry currency and experience within an agriculture or related industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality educational services to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
* Develop and implement learning resources used in the delivery of training package competencies.
* Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students.
* Engage with industry and community partners to develop consultancy services.
* Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and farm-based practical knowledge including animal handling and management, general farm maintenance, chemical use and application.
Requirements:
* Degree in Education or related field.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
* Certificate III Agriculture or related field.
* Proven ability to develop learning resources used in the delivery of training package competencies.
* Sound knowledge of current industry practices and farm-based practical knowledge including animal handling and management, general farm maintenance, chemical use and application.

* Professional qualifications and experience in education and/or agriculture.
* Industry currency and experience within an agriculture or related industry.
