Where You'll Be Working

The New England North West Mental Health Service (NENW MHS) delivers high‐quality, person‐centred mental health care across a diverse geographic footprint, spanning larger regional centres through to smaller rural and remote communities. Our service plays a vital role in supporting some of the most geographically dispersed populations in NSW, and we are committed to ensuring equitable access to safe, effective and compassionate care.

Within this environment, you will be working closely with the wider NENW leadership and administrative teams, who pride themselves on being collaborative, supportive and deeply committed to service excellence. Our workplace culture is grounded in respect, teamwork and a shared dedication to improving outcomes for consumers, carers and communities.

We are seeking an innovative, solutions‐focused administrative leader who is motivated by the challenge of strengthening access to services across rural areas. You will be welcomed into a team that values initiative, open communication and continuous improvement, and you will play a key role in shaping and driving positive change across the service.

About The Role

In this role as the Administration Team Leader, you will be the most senior administrative officer within the New England North West Mental Health Service (NENW MHS). You will play a pivotal role in providing high‐level administrative and clerical support to the NENW MHS Service Manager and Clinical Director, enabling them to achieve key objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

Beyond direct executive support, this position offers the opportunity to oversee and coordinate administrative resources across the entire NENW MHS. You will lead a diverse team of administration officers working across multiple sites and service streams, ensuring consistent, high‐quality administrative support that underpins effective service delivery. This is a role where your leadership, organisation and problem‐solving skills will directly contribute to strengthening the administrative foundation of the service.

The successful candidate will be well supported by the NENW MHS Service Manager and Clinical Director, and will have opportunities to connect with and draw on the expertise of the broader HNE MHS administration team lead. They will also benefit from strong links with the wider HNE MHS professional networks, ensuring access to guidance, peer support and shared resources across the district.

About You

In this role, we are seeking a candidate who brings a strong blend of leadership capability, administrative expertise and the personal attributes needed to support a complex, geographically diverse mental health service. * Highly organised and adaptable
* Proactive and solutions‐focused
